  1. Fritters - Fried fritters stuffed with salt fish serves up a good morning breakfast or midnight snack
  2. Coconut Drops - A medium-dried coconut, some shredded ginger, three cups of dark sugar and a cup of water will create your drops and delight your “sweet tooth”
  3. Blue drawers - Otherwise known as  ‘duckunoo’ or ‘tie leaf’ is a starchy green banana-based boiled pudding that is good for dessert or a snack if you prefer.
  4. Dumplings - Whether fried or boiled, this is a must at the Jamaican table.
  5. Bammy - Best side dish to hav with escoveitch fish. To make your own, just get a pound of sweet cassava with a pinch of salt and a tin of coconut milk and you are good to go.

and wash things down with the following drinks:

  1. Cranberry Juice - Cranberries are very high in Vitamin C and fibre and they are quite tasty.
  2. Orange Juice - Also an excellent source of Vitamin C, which goes well with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  3. Sorrel Drink - It’s rich in Vitamins A and C and can help build one’s immune system.
  4. Water - One of the most important suplement for the body - and the Jamaican water is among the best in the World
